Why Republicans are Losing: Example #1 Todd Kincannon

The Republican party has been going down the tubes for a long time, but not as monumentally as it has in the last four years. Will there ever be another Ronald Reagan? Hell, right now I’d settle for a Ford or even a Bush #1. It doesn’t look like I’m going to get my wish for a long time, at least not for another 4 years.

Why has the Republican party become the baby that America threw out with the bath water? Republican politicians are not Conservative enough, or not at all? Republicans aren’t really Republicans except in name only? There are a lot of reasons, but lets start with one that’s both hard and easy to understand at the same time: Ignorance.

Republicans have yet to understand the depths of depravity that the Democrat party is willing to stoop to in order to make sure their agendas are completed, and inflicted on the American people. Liberals are willing to get down and unholy. They send their dirty girls and brainwashed boys out to the masses to create chaos, and wreak havoc upon unsuspecting citizens, all in the name of freedom and equality. Little do these mindless drones, or useful idiots know, they will be discarded when their usefulness has reached its climax.

Right now we have a half white President in office. I thought I would put that out there because people have seemed to forget that Obama isn’t the first black, or African-American US President, he is the first mixed race President who has abandoned, in its entirety, half of his heritage along with anyone else who shares that heritage. Barack Obama doesn’t seem to cherish America. Instead he seems to loathe every principle it was founded on. Barry has mocked the religious, desecrated The Constitution, and spoke out against traditional values to the point of almost vilifying anyone who believes and lives them.

Obama doesn’t seem to be a very bright guy to me. He, along with his wife, admit to being proud recipients of Affirmative Action. So he didn’t really have to work to get to where he is. Still though, I find myself asking, how was he able to win so many people over and get them to believe in him? He has been able to do this by following the tactics of a man he admired and patterned himself after: Saul Alinksy.

The Rules from Alinsky’s “Rules for Radicals”:

  • RULE 1: “Power is not only what you have, but what the enemy thinks you have.” Power is derived from 2 main sources – money and people. “Have-Nots” must build power from flesh and blood.
  • RULE 2: “Never go outside the expertise of your people.” It results in confusion, fear and retreat. Feeling secure adds to the backbone of anyone.
  • RULE 3: “Whenever possible, go outside the expertise of the enemy.” Look for ways to increase insecurity, anxiety and uncertainty.
  • RULE 4: “Make the enemy live up to its own book of rules.” If the rule is that every letter gets a reply, send 30,000 letters. You can kill them with this because no one can possibly obey all of their own rules.
  • RULE 5: “Ridicule is man’s most potent weapon.” There is no defense. It’s irrational. It’s infuriating. It also works as a key pressure point to force the enemy into concessions.
  • RULE 6: “A good tactic is one your people enjoy.” They’ll keep doing it without urging and come back to do more. They’re doing their thing, and will even suggest better ones.
  • RULE 7: “A tactic that drags on too long becomes a drag.” Don’t become old news.
  • RULE 8: “Keep the pressure on. Never let up.” Keep trying new things to keep the opposition off balance. As the opposition masters one approach, hit them from the flank with something new.
  • RULE 9: “The threat is usually more terrifying than the thing itself.” Imagination and ego can dream up many more consequences than any activist.
  • RULE 10: “If you push a negative hard enough, it will push through and become a positive.” Violence from the other side can win the public to your side because the public sympathizes with the underdog.
  • RULE 11: “The price of a successful attack is a constructive alternative.” Never let the enemy score points because you’re caught without a solution to the problem.
  • RULE 12: “Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, and polarize it.” Cut off the support network and isolate the target from sympathy. Go after people and not institutions; people hurt faster than institutions.

Do the rules above sound American to you? Do they sound familiar? Does it sound anything like what our founding fathers would have for us, for our country? I say absolutely not. However, there are many many so called “Conservatives” who are using these tactics against their own. How can a true Conservative use the above tactics against their own kind, and why would they want to do it? The answer to that question will be saved for later.

Liberals like to perpetuate an atmosphere of chaos. They like to build people up, make them mad, tear into their psyche, break them down, take control, then dismiss them. They like to do it on a mass level too. Just look at what they’ve been able to accomplish with the unwashed Occupy crowd. It’s an embarrassment for America, a stain on our reputation, the OWS crowd is. Liberals don’t care though because they want to fundamentally change what America is, and steer it away from anything it was intended to be, away from traditionalism, and guide it towards a country of pacified, dependent, frightened, fatigued drones.

So sneaky is the left as they plot the course of their attacks on America. Republicans have tried to get in the game, but have failed to recognize when they’ve been hit by a psychological operation launched by the left. The left is able to cajole so many over to their side by planting individuals of all different walks of life into various positions of visibility to carry out their agenda. There were plants at the most recent Presidential debates asking soft ball questions to the President in order to make him look good. Town Halls, campaign stops, news conferences, you name it! Liberals will do whatever is necessary to either control the dialogue of the country, or put a stop to it all together.

Social media has been a very powerful tool that the Left has used to put asunder the Conservative movement. You may say, Republicans can used social media too, so why don’t they? Well, my answer to that is two-fold. First, Republicans are no longer a Conservative party. Most Republicans are not really Republicans, and are far from Conservative. Second, Conservatives, many if not most, prefer to live a life of personal responsibility, self-reliance, hard work, and perseverance. These beliefs or qualities have either faded, or were never acquired by liberals, as so many of them prefer to live off the government. Yes, the 47%’ers. They don’t work, don’t want to work, and have plenty of time to spend on the internet deluging social media outlets like Twitter and Facebook with all sorts of mind numbing and time-wasting bullcrap.

Which brings me to Example #1 of why Republicans are losing: Todd Kincannon. Who is he and what does he do to defeat the efforts of the Conservative Right?

Todd Kincannon claims to be a lawyer from South Carolina. Its been said that he was once the General Counsel and Executive Director of the South Carolina Republican Party. Wonder why that gig didn’t work out. He worked for another law firm at one time, but is now working at a firm bearing his name. It doesn’t appear Mr. Kincannon has any partners. Todd must not have a very busy law practice because he spends all his time on twitter, only breaking for an occasional local TV interview, and perhaps to sleep. After reviewing his timeline, it appears Mr. Kincannon spends around 20 hours a day on twitter, posting several times an hour, all day and most of the night.

Todd has over 35,000 followers on Twitter. That’s a substantial number – a number large enough to shape the Conservative dialogue on a social media website. And shape the dialogue he does. He’s no stranger to foul language and misogyny, as he uses both quite often, and without apologies. Its been said that he has solicited what we used to call back in the day of terminal emulation “hot chat” from any female willing to comply. Now a days, it’s just called “sexting”. Whatever it’s called, if he is actually sending photos of his Mr. Happy while requesting naughty photos from women, he is not the face the Republican party needs. That alone should be enough to make people go “Ewww!!!”

Apparently it’s not though. Mr. Kincannon created the Twitter hashtag #TGDN. It stands for Twitter Gulag Defense Network. Todd claimed he created the group to fight against the tactics of the Left in which they get Tweeters on the Right suspended. His theory is that if you have at least 3000 followers you are immune to Spam Block attempts lodged against you. If you get Spam Blocked too much, you get suspended from Twitter. Gulag is where you end up. Gulag is like prison for social media enthusiasts. So, he spammed the hashtag, and was able to get thousands of people to join in. He created list after list of “followers” who he instructed everyone to follow, and then follow back. Sounded like a good idea initially. Anything to keep liberals from dominating social media is good, right? Wrong!

I want you all right now to go back to Alinsky’s “rules” above and read them. If you are able to understand anything about what Alinsky tried to do to the minds of many useful idiots, you will see the correlation to what Todd Kincannon is doing now on Twitter. He draws people in who thinks he is the best thing since sliced bread because of the number of followers he has, his well honed skills of foul-mouthed one liners, and self promoted bad boy image. Many people think he’s a mover and shaker. But is he really?

Mooseknuckle Kincannon

I highly doubt it. Todd Kincannon is a well crafted tool which benefits the Left. He builds people up, makes them mad, tears into their psyche, breaks them down, takes control, then dismiss them. It must be exhausting being him. His useful idiots have fallen for the bait, and willingly comply as he directs them to block people, which can lead to their suspension. They assist him in spreading ill will towards other Conservatives, and do exactly what they criticize the Left of doing to them.

Lets face it, #TGDN is a follow train, nothing else. Well, except for it being a tool Todd uses to stroke his own ego, among other things. [Ewwww!] He knows if he can get enough mindless idiots involved, they will be wasting hours and hours of their time trying to join all the lists, knowing full well that once they reach the 2000 limit of follows, they will be stuck until more people follow them back. This causes followers of the list to spend even more of their time going to their follow list and unfollowing those who don’t follow them, to free up space to follow more. Sound absurd? It is.

All of this causes people, who might otherwise be spending their time more productively fighting against liberal control, to waste their time in an endless loop of following, unfollowing, and stroking Todd’s ego at the same time by giving him the ‘atta boy’s he so much desires.

Liberals like to create chaos and division. Todd Kincannon is no stranger to either. About two weeks into the whole mess he sort of became unhinged and began removing people from the list, blocking people who asked simple questions of him [questions which if answered honestly would have made him look very bad], then encouraged others to block as well. All of this wasting more time of those who seem to be under his command. He started using the exact same tactics liberals use when discrediting Conservatives. He accused people of being fake accounts, fake veterans, and other undesirable monikers, then denied everything he said and did. In fact, he is still doing it as we speak. Read his timeline.

Acquiescing on Twitter’s hashtag system, Kincannon created one of the best tools Liberals have at their disposal to further make Republicans look like crazy people. That’s not to say that everyone involved with the #TGDN hashtag are complete lunatics, just the most vocal ones. Kincannon’s timeline is filled with, unless you knew otherwise, lefty loons making comment after comment to either stoke Todd’s already swollen ego, or join in on the lynching of other real Conservative Patriots.

Todd wanted more though. He needed more ways to waste even more people’s time. He directed people to create at least one if not more Twitter backup accounts, then had them join the “network” and follow others on all the lists. Like I said, he engages people in a never-ending loop of time-wasting activities when true Patriots could instead be out there fighting the good fight.

That’s all well and good right? I mean, it’s no big deal if some creepy blowhard self stroking [Ewwww!] egomaniac exists in the same cyberspace that you do! Well, unless he starts asking for money. That’s exactly what Mr. Kincannon did. He is now asking for donations to fund the #TGDN Twitter hashtag. And I didn’t think things could get any stranger! All this reminds me of Metallica’s lyrics to their song Sad but True.

What a gift Todd Kincannon has given the left. For all the world to see, in a nice tidy little package, wrapped, and tied with a big red bow, a group of people has been created, and encouraged to let their crazy, foul, uncouth, primitive, petty sides out for all the world to see. Is the #TGDN a good thing for Conservatives to be involved with? Not if you don’t like being connected to something that is ultimately going to be used against you.

How can a true Conservative use the above tactics against their own kind, and why would they want to do it?

Because they aren’t true Conservatives, and they aren’t on our side. If he is the best we can do, we need to get out of the game. I really believe we can do better than Todd Kincannon and others like him. Wise up Conservatives. Don’t be fooled by those who would rather have us silenced. From this day forward, be smart, be vigilant, and don’t fall for traps set by the left.
